Croatia - the Mediterranean as it once was

Croatia has been one of Europe’s best kept secrets as a holiday destination. However it is becoming a popular  “must see” venue for the rich and famous.  2011 saw Prince Harry enjoying the delights of Hvar Town, other visitors spending holidays here include Sebastian Vettel, Bill Gates, Bernie Eccleston, Beyonce, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, to name just a small selection.

Croatia has many attractions for every type of holiday maker, what ever your age, and is steeped in history yet remains young at heart, hosting rock concerts, theatrical & cultural events throughout the year.  Sporting Activities available include diving, wind & kite surfing.

What better way to see the splendours Croatia has to offer than by boat?

Yacht Charter - sailing season in Croatia

The main sailing season in Croatia runs from May to October, with the peak season being from the end of June to the end of August, when it is reliably hot and sunny (35 degrees or so).

September is quieter, however the sea is still warm well into October. From October the weather can still be very pleasant and is often perfect for sailing although the days are getting shorter and the weather is becoming less predictable there are still good days.

The downside of sailing out of the main sailing season is that the lazy lines & many mooring buoys will have been removed. The upside is that except for in the marinas you may not be charged to berth.

If you require a Charter outside the season, it can be arranged.
